Apex Legends’ Evo Shields added to all modes
Respawn Entertainment has announced that the recently introduced Evo Shields will be sticking around in Apex Legends.
This new type of shield was introduced as part of the Deja Loot limited-time mode, which was available during the System Override event. Evo Shields start at white rarity and can be upgraded through blue, purple, and finally a new red rarity by dealing damage to opponents. Once fully upgraded, these new shields offer the most protection in the game.
As revealed on Twitter, players will begin finding Evo Shields in Ranked, Play Apex, and limited-time modes from now on.
In other news, Twitch Prime subscribers can now claim the Lucky Charmer skin for Mirage. The skin will be available to subscribers until April 16th.
Apex Legends is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
