Apex Legends Awakening collection event brings back Control, adds Lifeline’s Clinic
Apex Legends revealed the Awakening Collection Event, which heralds the return of Control, its popular limited-time mode, on June 21st.
The basic theme of Awakening is “monsters versus mechs.” That’s obvious enough from the event’s 24 themed cosmetics, including Valkyrie’s Suzaku Heirloom. You can earn up to 1,600 points per day through challenges on the rewards tracker. Of course, you can buy what you don’t earn from Apex‘s in-game store.
But enough about cosmetics. Awakening adds a whole new location to Olympus, and it’s bringing back Control.
You can find Lifeline’s Clinic on Olympus between Gardens and Grow Towers. There, you and your team can heal on the Med-bay and grab a Care Package from the Emergency Platform.
Control also returns, bringing with it a ton of quality of life updates. That includes decreased spawn wave times, increased capture rates if more players are on the point, and more. You can find the full patch notes on the Apex blog. This time, World’s Edge will host the mode.
Apex Legends is available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
