Anodyne 2, A Short Hike, and Mutazione are currently free on PC
PC owners can currently download and keep free copies of Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, A Short Hike, and Mutazione from the Epic Games Store.
Analgesic Productions’ adventure game puts players in control of Nova, a Nano Cleaner tasked with seeking out people infected by Nano Dust. After discovering a sick person, Nano shrinks down to enter their bodies and suck up the dust.
Joining Anodyne 2 is platformer A Short Hike, in which players must make their way to the summit of the mountain in Hawk Peak Provincial Park, meeting hikers and discovering treasures along the way.
The final free game of this week is Mutazione, a supernatural adventure game that is described as “a mutant soap opera where small-town gossip meets the supernatural…” Players are put into the shoes of 15-year-old Kai as she travels to the secretive community of Mutazione to care for her grandfather.
All three of these games will be free to download and keep until March 19th. After this date, first-person exploration game The Stanley Parable and Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs will be free until March 26th.
