Amazon’s MMO New World has been delayed
New World, the upcoming MMO from Amazon Games, needs a few more weeks of development.
In a message posted to Twitter, the developer announced that the release date of New World is being moved back by a few weeks from August 31st to September 28th, 2021. Amazon Games plans to use this additional time to implement improvements based on closed beta feedback, fix bugs, and improve stability.
“This was not an easy decision to make,” the developer added. “We know this isn’t the first time we’ve changed our launch date in pursuit of quality, and that it can be disappointing to wait a bit longer. But we want to be sure we deliver you the highest quality game possible at launch. Thank you for your support and feedback.”
New World is now scheduled to launch on September 28th for PC.
