A signal has been detected from Halo
A new teaser video takes us one step closer to the next big reveal for Halo Infinite.
“The hour approaches,” the message begins. “Forces occupy the ring. Within hours, it will be under our control, and humanity will burn. Their brazen defiance will be all but a memory. No more prophets. No more lies. We stand together, brothers to the end. We are his will, we are his legacy, we are the Banished.”
The voice in the message seems to be that of Atriox, a Jiralhanae warmaster who leads a faction of ex-Covenant mercenaries know as the Banished. While we aren’t saying there will be a direct connection—and thus a need to play it before Halo Infinite—Atriox served as the primary antagonist of 2017’s Halo Wars 2.
Thankfully, we won’t have too much longer to wait to find out some answers on what’s in store for Master Chief in Halo Infinite. The next big Xbox 20/20 event is coming next month, where the company will be showing off its upcoming Xbox Game Studios titles.
