A Plague Tale: Innocence getting next-gen upgrades on Xbox
Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive’s unique action adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence will soon look and play even better when experiences on Xbox Series X and Series S.
The update will bring a framerate boost up to 60fps, 3D audio, and 4K visuals (on Xbox Series X only). And, even better, the update will be free for all existing owners of the game on Xbox One when it comes on July 6th.
If you haven’t tried A Plague Tale: Innocence yet, it’s definitely worth playing—I wrote that the game is “a gripping, touching, emotional, yet at times horrifying experience, one that feels quite unlike almost any other game out there” in my review. If you’re curious about it and you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can give A Plague Tale: Innocence a go for no extra cost.
