The Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger joins Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid
Robert “RJ” James, otherwise known as the Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger, has joined the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid roster with the launch of Season 3.
“Courageous as a wolf, Robert ‘RJ’ James joins as the Jungle Fury Rangers’ mentor before revealing that he is the Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger,” developer nWay explains. “Originally trained under his father, Master Finn, RJ rejected the Shark Style and instead adopted the wolf spirit for combat. When he is not fighting alongside the Rangers, he runs the Jungle Karma Pizza parlor that also acts as their headquarters.”
RJ is a “momentum-based melee fighter” who attacks using a “barrage of elbow-and-knees-based attacks.” Players can either access the character by purchasing the season pass for $14.99 or as an individual purchase for $5.99.
In addition to RJ, the season pass includes the Super Samurai Red Ranger, an unannounced character, and the Phantom Beast King Skin for Dai Shi.
A free update has also been released alongside Season 3 that adds the Samurai Megazord as a new ultra and adjusts the Megazord Ultra activation conditions to be activated based on the consumption of the Megazord Revenge Meter.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
