Kerbal Space Program 2 suffers a delay
Kerbal Space Program 2 has suffered another delay that pushes the game’s release back to fall 2021.
The game was originally given a spring 2020 release window when it was announced, but was later pushed back to fiscal year 2021, which put it between April 2020 and March 2021. Now, the game has been delayed again due to difficulties caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
A message from the development team explains that they are “facing many unique challenges that require more time to safely iterate, create, test, and make KSP2 as great as it can be.” Read the full message below:
The upcoming sequel features new planets, new technologies, interstellar travel, and new colonies that can be used to explore deep space. There will also be additional mod support, multiplayer, and an improved tutorial.
Kerbal Space Program 2 is in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
