Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Void Edge arrives on PC and consoles
Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Void Edge update is now live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, bringing with it new Operators, a map rework, and more.
The highlight of today’s update is the arrival of two new Operators. First up is Dutch Attacker Iana, who can use her Gemini Replicator device to summon a remote-controlled holographic copy of herself. Joining Iana is Jordanian Defender Oryx, who can dash through walls, knock down opponents, and jump up to open hatches.
Both Iana and Oryx are available now for owners of the Year 5 Pass. Everyone else will be able to unlock both Operators using Renown or R6 Credits from March 17th.
As well as the new Operators, Operation Void Edge reworks the Oregon map. As part of the rework, Big Tower now connects directly to Kitchen, a new part of the basement has been added that leads to the first floor, and several doors have been removed.
Other changes include barricade destruction improvements, a revamp for the Play Section, Lesion and Twitch balance adjustments, Operator Price decreases, and a new Elite Set for Ash based on Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft.
