Nintendo Switch surpasses 50 million units sold
The Nintendo Switch has now sold more than 52 million units worldwide, according to Nintendo’s latest financial results.
A total of 17.74 million units were sold between April 2019 and December 31st, 2019, to take the total units sold worldwide to 52.48 million. Of those 17 million Switch sales, 5.19 million were Nintendo’s handheld-only Nintendo Switch Lite.
The Nintendo 3DS sold 620,000 units in the same period, taking the lifetime sales of the handheld to over 75 million.
