Ori and the Will of the Wisps gets a new release date and trailer
Microsoft has announced that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will now launch for Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam on March 11th, 2020.
The game was originally scheduled to release on February 11th, 2020, but the decision to delay the launch by a month has been made to give the team time to polish the game.
“Microsoft and Moon Studios are taking the extra time to ensure that Ori fans get the best gameplay experience possible,” Xbox Game Studios senior producer Daniel Smith said.
Microsoft also unveiled a Collector’s Edition of the game, which is available to preorder now. The Collector’s Edition includes the following:
- The Art of Ori and the Will of the Wisps book
- Piano Collections Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack CD
- Iconic golden feather SteelBook® case
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps original soundtrack for MP3 download
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps for Xbox One
Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be available via Xbox Game Pass for both PC and console at launch.
