Capcom also revealed that the multiplayer Resident Evil spinoff Project Resistance will be included with Resident Evil 3 as its multiplayer component. Now titled Resident Evil Resistance, the game sees four players taking on the role of survivors, while a fifth player becomes the Mastermind. Survivors must complete puzzles and defeat enemies to escape within the allotted time, while the Mastermind must use cards to lay traps and enemies in an attempt to stop them.
In addition to the above, a Collector’s Edition of the game was unveiled that contains a double-sided map, a collector’s art book, an 11-inch Jill Valentine figure, a digital soundtrack, and special S.T.A.R.S. item box packaging.
Finally, all players who preorder the remake will receive the Classic Costume Pack, which features the original design for Jill Valentine and hairstyle for Carlos Oliveira.
Resident Evil 3 launches April 3rd, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
