Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s 2v2 Gunfight mode will be expanded in the future with the addition of 1v1 and 3v3 options.
Infinity Ward’s co-design director of multiplayer revealed that the new options will be added “at some point,” but failed to offer any sort of release window.
In other news, Infinity Ward revealed last week that “the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history” will be arriving in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tomorrow, December 3rd. The update will introduce new 6v6 maps, a new Ground War map, new Gunfight maps, new modes, and more. Players will also be able to purchase the game’s first season pass following the update.
