Modern Warfare update adds new maps and Hardpoint, nerfs 725 and M4
Infinity Ward has released a new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that includes new content, weapon balance, and bug fixes.
To start with, this new update introduces the Krovnik Farmland map to Ground War and the Shoot House map to multiplayer. In addition, Hardpoint has been added as a new playlist alongside Shoot House 24/7, which is a mixture of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters.
Moving onto weapon balance. The 725 Shotgun has had its bullet spread increased and damage range decreased, and the M4A1 now has reduced damage range and a recoil increase. Other changes include increased movement speed for SMGs, increased damage range for pistols, a reduction in long-range damage for full auto assault rifles, and LMG nerfs.
In addition to the above, enemies can longer hear callouts, lighting has been improved, and footsteps have been adjusted to reduce volume at distance and occlude footsteps behind geometry.
Finally, Claymores have been nerfed with a reduction in trigger and damage radius, and a change to make it so detonating one with bullets is no longer lethal when at full health.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
