The Sims are heading to university later this year
EA has announced that The Sims 4’s Discover University expansion will be coming to PC in November and consoles in December.
As part of this expansion, Sims will be able to enroll at either the more traditional University of Britechester or the modern Foxbury Institute. After arriving at their university of choice, Sims will have to choose a dorm (if staying on campus) and select the classes they’ll be taking.
While at university, Sims can take part in study sessions, go to lectures, ride a bike around campus, complete term papers, give presentations, and more. EA notes that attending these classes will affect final grades and how well Sims do in their careers.
It’s not all work though. When not in classes or lectures, Sims can take a break by taking part in juice pong, hanging out with roommates, or joining an organization like robotics or debate. Rumor has it that there’s also “a mysterious secret society” on campus that is looking for new members.
The Sims 4: Discover University launches November 15th on PC, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release to follow on December 17th.
