GTA Online’s Criminal Enterprises update will bring big changes next week
Criminal Enterprises, the next big update for Grand Theft Auto Online, launches on July 26th, bringing with it some significant changes, new missions, and more.
The story behind the update might sound familiar: Gas prices are spiking, supply chains are breaking, and the only profits to be found seem to be funneling into the pockets of corrupt elites. In this case, it’s local oil tycoons the Duggan family who are reaping the benefits of a collapsing economy. The IAA wants you to investigate them in a series of missions for 1 to 4 players called Operation Paper Trail.
The bulk of Criminal Enterprises, however, is how it will expand GTA Online‘s different careers. Executives, Bikers, Gunrunners, and Club Owners will now all have new missions to complete, including several new mission types. Best of all, you will be able to play all Business activities in private sessions. No more getting bombed by jerks on flying motorcycles when you’re just trying to do your job.
If you’re working for a friend, expect increased paydays for your efforts, as well as increased payouts for multiplayer modes. You can use that increased cash flow to buy the two new Imani Tech–eligible vehicles arriving with Criminal Enterprises. One of our favorite updates, however, is that we will soon have an “easier way to replenish Health during firefights with more convenient access to snacks and armor.”
