Sniper Elite 5 trailer goes over the game’s features
Rebellion has shared a new trailer for Sniper Elite 5 ahead of its release later this month.
This latest trailer for the game goes over the various features included in the upcoming entry, such as the online co-op campaign, new traversal mechanics, enhanced Kill Cam that now triggers from pistols and SMGs, and the Invasion PvP mode.
As previously revealed, Invasion Mode allows another player to join the game as an Axis Sniper tasked with taking the Allied player out. Invading Axis players can earn weapons, items, and skins by successfully killing the Allied player, while the Allied player gets weapon and character skins for being the one to secure the kill. Invasion Mode can be turned off in the menus for players who do not wish to take part.
The game once again follows elite marksman Karl Fairburne, who is attempting to stop a Nazi plot known as Operation Kraken that could turn the tide of the Second World War. Karl will have to gather intelligence about the plans and take out the scheme’s mastermind, Abelard Möller, an Axis Obergruppenführer, to achieve this.
Sniper Elite 5 launches May 26th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also be available through Xbox Game Pass from launch.
