Ubisoft is shutting down its free-to-play battle royale game Hyper Scape
Free-to-play battle royale game Hyper Scape is closing its doors in April, Ubisoft has announced.
In a message about the future of the game, Ubisoft revealed that Hyper Scape will end on April 28th. The company also said that it “will be taking key learnings from this game into future products.”
“To the Hyper Scape community, thank you for your passion and dedication to the world of Neo Arcadia both inside and outside of the game,” Ubisoft added. “Your devotion to the game we built will always be cherished.”
The last big content drop for the game came with Season 3 in March of last year. Season 3 introduced new Champions, an updated map, the Firewall Hack, Team Deathmatch changes, and a new Battle Pass. This was followed by the 3.1 update in April which made a few balance changes and fixed several bugs.
Hyper Scape launched in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
