Steam Deck release date confirmed
Valve has confirmed that it will begin inviting reservation holders to order their Steam Deck starting February 25th.
A post on Steam revealed that people will have three days (72 hours) after receiving their order invite to make the purchase. If the purchase is not made within the time limit, the reservation will be released to the next person in the queue.
Valve notes that the first set of invites will be sent out to reservation holders shortly after 10 a.m. PT and are being sent in the order people reserved in. People can only order the Steam Deck model they originally reserved.
The first units are scheduled to be shipped out starting February 28th and subsequent order emails will be sent out in batches weekly.
The Steam Deck comes in 64GB eMMC, 256GB NVMe SSD, or 512GB NVMe SSD models.
