Fortnite introduces the Shield Keg
The latest update for Fortnite has added a new way for players to heal their shields.
The Shield Keg works similar to the Med-Mist by restoring the shields of all allies when placed down. The fountain lasts long enough to restore shields from 0-100, but Epic Games warns that it can also restore the shields of enemies in the area. Find this new item in chests, on the ground, and from Supply Drops.
Epic also reminded players that the Winterfest event is coming to an end on January 6th. This gives players a few more days to open their presents and claim 14 gift items, including two outfits, and complete the limited-time quests for an XP boost.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.
