Apex Legends’ next event brings pirate skins, Winter Express, and a new heirloom
Next week sees the kick-off of the Raiders Collection Event, the latest special event to hit Respawn’s popular free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex Legends.
The event seems like it’s going to be a lot of fun for three reasons. First, it’s bringing with it some really great looking pirate-themed skins for a variety of the game’s Legends. Second, it’ll feature the return of Winter Express, a limited time mode that’s always a lot of fun.
And, finally—because MY GIRL WATTSON IS FINALLY GETTING HER HEIRLOOM!!
Yeah, look, you can call it a price scanner, or a Ghostbusters P.K.E. meter, or a high-tech thermometer, or whatever else you want to call it. I’m embracing the utter silliness and stupidity of the heirloom Respawn has given her.
And, of course, during the event, not only will you be able to purchase the special skins or get them through event packs, but you’ll also be able to progress along the Raiders prize tracker, which include free packs, skins, and… a gun charm that’s a mouse holding a knife. Huh.
