Fortnite update brings back the B.R.U.T.E. and Shopping Carts
Fortnite‘s powerful mechs, known as B.R.U.T.E.s, have returned to the game as part of today’s update.
“The Cube Queen has deployed countless warriors, and corruption is spreading fast throughout the Island. To fight back, the war effort against the Cubes is producing some big guns of their own,” Epic Games writes. “Meet the Salvaged B.R.U.T.E.”
This new version of the B.R.U.T.E. “has a stripped down armor hull with no overshield,” according to the developer, which should make it easier for players to take down if they encounter it. These mechs can be found at Salvaged B.R.U.T.E. Stations and require a lot of Bars to call down.
In addition to the B.R.U.T.E., Epic has brought back Shopping Carts to the game, expanded The Convergence, and fixed a few bugs. Read the full patch notes here.
In other news, the collaboration with Naruto is now live, bringing with it a number of themed cosmetics. Get the details here.
