Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack release date revealed
Nintendo has confirmed that the Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online will be available from October 25th.
As previously announced, the Expansion Pack for the service grants access to a number of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles which can be played on Nintendo Switch. These titles will feature an upgrade to resolution, the ability to save and suspend the game at any time, online multiplayer, and the option to rewind gameplay (Sega Genesis only). At launch, the following games are included:

- Super Mario 64
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- WIN BACK: COVERT OPERATIONS

- Contra: Hard Corps
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Ecco the Dolphin
- Golden Axe

- Shinobi 3
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2

In addition to Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis titles, players who own the Expansion Pack will be able to play Animal Crossing: Horizon‘s Happy Home Paradise DLC for free when it releases in November. The DLC lets players design vacation homes in a new resort area located in an archipelago made up of several different islands.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is priced at $49.99 for 12 months on one account, with a family option available for $79.99 for 12 months that covers eight accounts.
