PSO2 New Genesis adding Bouncer, Mission Pass, and more next week
Sega has announced that the Bouncer class will arrive in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis next week on October 13th.
The Bouncer can choose between the Soaring Blades and Jet Boots weapons and players can get training for this new class from Deirdre in Central City. When using the Jet Boots, the ability and potency of Photon Arts (PA) can be changed by holding down the PA button, while the ability and potency of PAs when using Soaring Blades is changed by triggering the same PA again.
Also arriving on the same day is the Mission Pass system. Complete in-game tasks between October 13th and November 10th to progress the pass and unlock new cosmetics and items. All players who log in between October 13th and November 2nd will receive the N-Mission Pass Gold for free.
Another new addition coming on October 13th is Battledia quests. These come in two forms and are triggered by collecting five Battle Triggers from enemies and then using them at a Trigger Portal. Battledia: Yellow quests drop experience and enhancement materials, while Battledia: Purple pits players against Gigantix for high-end rewards.
Finally, the Halloween Fiesta event gets underway on October 27th. During the event, Central City will get a Halloween makeover, new limited-time tasks will be available, and players can obtain new fire-based four-star weapons.
Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is available now on Xbox and PC.
