Try Dubai before you buy with Hitman 3’s Free Starter Pack
IO Interactive has announced a Free Starter Pack for Hitman 3, which will let you try the game’s first level, Dubai, before you buy.
The Free Starter Pack launches on March 30th, and you can play Dubai until April 5th. If you’ve already played Hitman and Hitman 2, you can carryover the progress you made in those games to Dubai as well.
However, the starter pack doesn’t end there. It offers permanent access to the opening level of Hitman, which is the ICA Training Facility where Agent 47 first meets Diana. You can complete its challenges and grind XP so that, if you do purchase any of the last three Hitman games, you can carryover that progress. Same goes for the first level from Hitman 2, Hawke’s Bay, which will also be available in the starter pack on March 30th.
IO has also committed to adding more limited-time content to the starter pack over time, including full levels and Elusive Targets. It also stated that anything that’s added to the starter pack will be available to Hitman 3 players for free, even if they don’t own the previous two games, which means that Hitman 3 players can try out Hawke’s Bay while it’s available.
The Free Starter Pack launches in tandem with Hitman 3‘s Seven Deadly Sins DLC, which will start with the Season of Greed and an exclusive set of Escalation missions. The roadmap for the first season will arrive on April 5th.
Hitman 3 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Google Stadia. For more on the game, check out our review.
