Ark: Survival Evolved’s Valguero update arrives on console
Valguero, the newest map for Ark: Survival Evolved, is now live on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This free map introduces 63 square kilometers of new land and sea for players to explore split across eight biomes, and a new dinosaur to encounter and tame in the Deinonychus. There’s also a boss arena located on the island that features a triple threat boss encounter against the Megapithecus, Manticore, and Dragon.
“Explore new heights and hidden depths; whether it’s creating your foundations in the White Cliffs or unearthing the secrets of the Aberration Trench, Valguero offers a new experience in the ARK universe,” developer Studio Wildcard explains. “With new biomes, challenging dungeon bosses, and mysterious ruins to discover, there’s always something exciting — and dangerous — on Valguero. Among its more than 60 kilometers, you’ll find everything from lush jungles to environmental hazards, snowfields to lava flows, and savannahs to hot springs.”
In addition, a special Evolution Event is now live until July 22nd that offers players double harvesting, taming, and experience rates.
Ark: Survival Evolved is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
