EA Play now coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC in 2021
EA Play was supposed to be joining Xbox Game Pass for PC today, but that is no longer happening.
In an update on Xbox Wire, Microsoft has announced that EA Play will now be joining Xbox Game Pass for PC at some point in 2021. According to Microsoft, more time is needed to “provide a great experience for members.”
“We established this partnership with Electronic Arts because they are as passionate as we are about helping people and communities discover great games, and we knew we could provide a great experience for members by working together,” the Xbox Game Pass team said. “In order to deliver on that, we need more time to provide the Xbox Game Pass experience.”
EA Play is currently included as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for consoles. The service grants players access to a number of full EA titles, limited-time trials of upcoming games, discounts on digital EA titles and DLC, and exclusive rewards.
