Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6 coming to Xbox and PC next year
During The Game Awards, it was revealed that The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will finally be coming to Xbox and PC in 2021.
The remastered collection, which contains Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5, will arrive on Xbox, Windows 10, and Steam on January 28th, 2021. Unlike the Kiwami remakes of previous entries, the remasters have only received a resolution and framerate bump to run at 1080p/60 FPS.
Following on March 25th, 2021 will be Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. This final outing for series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu is set three years after the events of Yakuza 5 and sees him looking after Haruka’s son while he attempts to discover why both the Tojo Clan and Yomei Alliance are after him.
Microsoft and Sega also announced that both The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6 will be available through Xbox Game Pass at launch.
