You may have spotted a message from the developer that briefly flashed up at the end of the trailer. The message thanks fans for their support and also revealed a little information regarding the team’s plans when it comes to post-launch content. CD Projekt Red confirmed that it is planning to drop several free DLC packs for the game in early 2021 and is also working on “substantial, story-driven content” for the game.
“Our planned expansions will take you even deeper into the world of Cyberpunk 2077, offering substantial, story-driven content that’ll give you tough choices to make through impactful narratives that you won’t soon forget,” the message reads.
“But before we get there, we’ll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that’ll inject even more life into the world of dark future. We hope you’re looking forward to them!”
Cyberpunk 2077 launches December 10th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is also playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
