Yakuza: Like a Dragon launches November, PS5 version and English voice cast announced
Sega has confirmed that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be coming to PlayStation 5, in addition to the previously announced Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC versions.
Just like with Xbox One and Xbox Series X, the game will offer a way to upgrade from the PlayStation 4 release to PlayStation 5, according to the publisher. More information about how to upgrade will be shared “at a later date.”
In addition to the release window, Sega unveiled the game’s English voiceover cast in a new trailer. The cast includes Kaiji Tang as Ichiban Kasuga, George Takei as Masumi Arakawa, Andrew Morgado as Koichi Adachi, Greg Chun as Yu Nanba, and Elizabeth Maxwell as Saeko Mukoda. The publisher also announced three special editions of the game: Day Ichi Edition, the Hero Edition, and the Legendary Hero Edition. The Day Ichi Edition is a digital exclusive and contains the Legends Costume Set, which includes eight costumes based on fan-favorites from the Yakuza series. While the Hero Edition costs $69.99 and includes the Legendary Hero Set, plus two new playable jobs and additional employees for the Management Mode mini-game. Finally, the Legendary Hero Edition contains everything above, as well as the Crafting Set, Karaoke Set, Ultimate Costume Set, and Stat Boost Set.
