Shenmue III’s Battle Rally DLC launches this month
Deep Silver and Ys Net have announced that the first add-on for Shenmue III, Battle Rally, will arrive on January 21st, 2020.
Battle Rally will offer players “fresh gaming activities in a race unlike any other” and see them “engage in head-to-head battles whilst racing their way through the course.” Players who manage to cross the line in first will earn some “truly awesome rewards.”
The upcoming DLC will also allow players to take control of a new protagonist. In Battle Rally, players can choose to play as the treasure-seeking Wuying Ren, Ryo’s sparring partner Wei Zhen, or Ryo Hazuki.
Battle Rally will be available to purchase for $7.99 from January 21st. However, owners of the Complete DLC Collection can download it for free.
Shenmue III is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
